1. Data controller

2. Data we collect
We only collect what is needed to handle your booking:
- Contact and booking details: name, phone number, email address, preferred date/time, number of horses and distance – which you provide by text, call or email.
- Technical data: anonymised visit statistics via Google Analytics (e.g. pages visited, device type and approximate location). IP addresses are anonymised (anonymize_ip).
- Google sign-in (if you use it): if the site offers Google sign-in we receive your name, email address and profile picture/language setting from Google. The data is used only for identification and account management.
We create no user accounts and do not collect driving-licence or payment details on this website.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)): answering enquiries, booking and providing the horse-transport rental.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): improving the website, measuring marketing and preventing misuse – e.g. aggregated Google Analytics statistics.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): Google Ads measurement and personalisation run only after consent via consent mode; ad storage is denied by default.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): accounting and other statutory record-keeping.
4. Google services and data sharing
We use the following Google services:
- Google Tag / Google Analytics 4: measures visits and clicks (e.g. text, phone and email clicks as lead events). Data may be processed on servers inside and outside the EU/EEA.
- Google Ads: conversion measurement to see which visits lead to contact. No personalised advertising without consent.
- Google Fonts / Google Tag Manager: technical delivery of fonts and measurement. Your browser fetches these files from Google.
- Google sign-in / Google OAuth: authentication is handled by Google. We only receive the profile data you approve and never share it for marketing. Our use follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- External Google Maps link: the “Get directions” button opens Google Maps in a new tab – Google’s own privacy policy then applies.
Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out add-on.
We never sell your personal data. Data is shared only with processors needed to run the site (e.g. web hosting and Google), with data-processing agreements where required.
5. Retention
Text, email and booking data is kept as long as needed to handle your booking and then for a maximum of 24 months, unless bookkeeping law requires longer storage (normally 7 years for accounting records). Google Analytics statistics is stored in aggregated, anonymised form.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data and receive a copy,
- have inaccurate data corrected,
- have data erased (“right to be forgotten”),
- restrict processing or object to legitimate interests,
- receive data in a portable format (data portability),
- withdraw consent at any time (e.g. for Ads measurement).

7. Security and children
We protect data with access control, encrypted transfer (HTTPS) and data minimisation. The service is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data about children.
8. Changes
We update this policy when needed – e.g. if we add sign-in or new measurement services. The current version is always available on this page.
